Good to know

Armenian weekdays count from the Sabbath: երկուշաբթի is literally “two-Sabbath”, երեքշաբթի “three”, չորեքշաբթի “four”, հինգշաբթի “five”. Friday and Sunday have their own names, and շաբաթ means both Saturday and week.
